Writing biographies about myself as a musician is way up there in my list of least favorite activities. I have played guitar for over 25 years... generally rock... but lots of other flavors, too. I have a degree in music from Berklee College of Music. I've played in roughly 10 bands in my life plus numerous side projects. Bla bla bla I hate writing this stuff because you really can't learn much about someone's music by reading a bunch of words. Who was it that said, "writing about music is like dancing about architecture"? However, there are two features of my playing that I feel are worth mentioning:

1. My tone... it's always been something I cared deeply about and I'm proud of it... it's changed and mutated through the years but I honestly believe that I've always been able to produce a good tone... one that draws the listener in and connects with them.

2. I am eclectic... if you listen to one or two examples on my Music & Videos page you might think you have a good idea of what I "sound" like... but not really. If you want to understand me as a musician you should listen through to most of the examples because there is a lot of variety.

I'm currently looking for a new project or projects. I'm really open minded and can enjoy playing in many different styles. My only real requirement is that the music is good. If you are interested in doing some playing please contact me.
